Black Voices in Gaming February 2026 Showcase - I had the pleasure of pitching and creating the virtual studio for Black Voices in Gaming’s February 2026 Showcase. I led the design of this space, inspired by retro American cartoons, and 3D modeled the entire room. I later enlisted two former 3D modeling students to collaborate on some of the assets and worked with indie developers to contribute graphics from their games to decorate the environment. This effort marked the start of an ongoing collaboration to celebrate various Black game developers in the new virtual headquarters.

GYAAR STUDIO x Black Voices in Gaming International Playtest - In partnership with Black Voices in Gaming, the GYAAR Studio team organized a cross‑cultural playtest that brought together English‑speaking and Japanese‑speaking developers. By facilitating real‑time playtesting and synthesising insights from both communities, we helped bridge international indie‑game networks, fostering stronger collaboration and more inclusive game development practices.

Black Voices in Gaming Summer Games Fest 2025 - For the Black Voices in Gaming Summer Games Fest, I worked in tandem crafting a tightly coordinated showcase schedule that blended video game trailers, musical performances and developer interviews. I was responsible for the run of show and coordinating interviews with the developers as the co-host. We then disseminated via social feeds and partner platforms, amplifying under‑represented voices.

Progression Mechanics Game Jam 2024- I organized Northwestern University’s newly revived Progression Mechanics Game Jam 2024, designing the entire event framework and a detailed day‑of schedule that , spanned a duration of 6 weeks and culminated in a celebration of student-made game projects By partnering with local Chicago indie studios and gaming non-profits I helped to foster broader networking opportunities connecting student participants directly with seasoned developers. This blend of schedule planning and community outreach revitalized the campus tradition while strengthening ties between emerging talent and the vibrant Chicago indie game ecosystem.

iD@Xbox Developer Acceleration Program - Working with ID@Xbox on their Developer Acceleration Program, I consulted directly with stakeholders to articulate developers’ core needs and demonstrate how a dedicated fund could address those gaps. I helped shape the program’s structure—defining milestones, mentorship components, and resource allocations—and identified the specific funding requirements essential for supporting the creation of new, innovative projects within the Xbox ecosystem.
